Founder and Director Reetu Kabra is an award-winning, London-based publicist with 20 years’ experience in arts and entertainment. She has worked in-house for renowned media companies including the BBC and BBC Studios, UKTV, Discovery Networks and Penguin Random House and has managed publicity for television shows, feature films, channel brands, radio stations, home entertainment products and book launches and with some of the world’s most established actors, writers and filmmakers.

Since launching RK PR in 2017 she is now managing personal publicity for a boutique roster of actors and writers and has consulted for major international clients including Apple TV+, Netflix and Sky among others. Recent projects have included unit publicity for the television adaptation of Nick Cave’s novel The Death of Bunny Munro starring Matt Smith (Clerkenwell Films for Sky) and Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 for Hulu and Amazon Prime starring Nicole Kidman. In feature films she has recently worked on Romain Gavras’ English-language debut Sacrifice starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Evans.

During her time at BBC Worldwide she handled global publicity for the internationally acclaimed Doctor Who and Sherlock as well as other major BBC dramas including War & Peace, Luther and Wolf Hall.  In 2017, she managed the Cannes Film Festival publicity campaign for Top of the Lake: China Girl (written and directed by Jane Campion) – the first television series to receive its global premiere at the festival.  

As well as a thorough knowledge of the UK media landscape, she has particular expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder, global campaigns and integrating PR with clients’ marketing and digital teams to ensure projects can generate cross-platform buzz in today’s fast-paced entertainment business.
